                                                               REVIEW

When I first began reading the series, I wasn't sure of what I would read. I admit that I did the mistake of watching the movie first without having knowledge of the book's plot. Indeed I was disappointed by the movie BUT I loved the book! The POVs are many and in the third person; this can give to anyone the chance to have an overall view of the characters, their relationships and their feelings.

Claire begins as a timid but strong willed girl who at the end of the series is strong enough to defy even the biggest obstacles. Jace, in his loneliness and sarcastic nature, is a hottie and personaly I am curious about who will be him on the TV series! He is strong but sometimes he becomes emotionally drained, especially on the second and third book.

After them we get to know many characters, who either evolve or die by the end of the 6th book. A strong connection to all of the is Magnus Bane who also got his own book, has a taste for fashion and funny moments and falls in love with Alex. Isabelle and Simon, Luc the Lightwood family and a variety of characters form a strong plot, where ties of family, love and betrayal are tested and powers are discovered.

The series is a complete storyline and at the closing we get the feeling that the author opens the 'doors' to the prequel of "Infernal Devices" and "Dark Artifices".
