So from where should i begin? From the way Laini Taylor intriduces a whole society of winged people and their struggle? The way how Karou struggles for he feeling about Akiva? Or Akiva himself who despite Karou's rejection still loves her?
Days of Blood and Starlight continue from where the first book left us. And for one point i enjoed Zuzana's relationship with Mik and Ziri's affection for Karou. Some characters die others stay loyal to their cause and reappear but the result is the same...
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE THIRD BOOK! I WANT IT NOW! ehmmm this will be for now. Don't be disappointed the book will not let you do that!

Once again Marissa Meyer creates another great story, which doesn't dissapoint but instead makes you stay with the book on hand all the time!
"Cress" follows the story of "Rapunzel" as Cress is locked on a satelite when Cinder and allies try to rescue her. Well, from that point we have Africa, Moon, Beinjing and also some loses. I hope for the fourth book to have more of Scarlet and Wolf. Thorne and Cress are an interesting combination not to mention Emperor Kai!
I can't wait for the next and final story...it seems so away now.

I really do have a love for scifi and anything similar to this. One of the instances is time travel. And while the story tries to focus on the relationship about Eden, Connor and Ryan i found it hard to see the real sci-fi on the book.
On the other hand there was the romance, which was developed quickly but the heartbreaking moments deserved it. And Eden, she doesn't seem stupid like on others reviews i have read. She has strength and despite the weird stuff in her life she really wanted to help Ryan.
I HOPE TO SEE MORE ON THE SECOND BOOK!

There are times when a review CAN'T explain the beauty of a story. On the second book of Newsoul Ana and Sam have to fight for the rights of the Newsouls as also find the secter behind Janan's existence.
Music is the key element as emotions flow through the pages while Jodi creates a colorful story of emotion, love and descriptions. It's beautiful the way how Ana finds more about herself and her emotions about Sam, while I still believe that making Sam sound like a 5000 years old man in the body of an 18 years old took quite a try!
Excelent plot and Infinite will be a perfect conclusion at least i hope

With "Infinite" on the stores, i decided to dedicate these days on reading Jodi Meadows's works, Incarnate and Asunder.
The story begins with Ana, a person who is branded as a "nosoul" a body with no emotions even anything that makes her human. Sure, living in a world where the people around you reincarnate after their death and there are centaurs, dragons, trols and sylphs to hunt you down is very easy.
On her journey Ana meets Sam, a boy who saves her and together they head to Heart, the city of all souls.
From there the story gets to its better for me. We get to see life through Ana's POV as she tries to learn anything she can. The piano scenes are my favorite as also the dancing scene. Sam even on the body of a teenage speaks like an old man but that makes his wiser and protective towards Ana.
With many questions for the next book, "Incarnate" is considered to be one of the best books on my shelves. XD

The novella follows the story of Eamon, his brother Aidan and Lu who is arranged to get married with Aidan. Eamon writes letters to her under his brother name and the two of them grow close. After a family tragedy Lu moves to their mansion for the wdding and then the great part begins.
I liked the romance on the letters. It was sweet, funny and very Victorian-like. You can see the discrimination on the society as also the way of living on arranged marriages. But even for the short lenght the story is another great installment of Kristen Callihan's series.!

Karou lives in Prague together with four chimera, beast like creatures. All her life is a mix of magic errands for teeth and an anguish for knowing more about herself. Everything changes when she comes across Akiva, a seraphim, angel, with enigmatic beauty and secrets of his own.
5 of 5 stars For being an original plot with different aspects of death, life and how souls align together. Karou and Akiva are star-crossed lovers who will have to fight for both their lives and their futures.
Laini Taylor uses the words with love and emotion, something that takes big guts and will. For me it's a good read and i recommend it. XD

In the second book of the Shiver Trilogy, Maggie continues with her lyrical, full of emotions writting as Sam and Grace struggle to stay together while new relevations threat to tear them apart.
Cole and Isabel became interesting characters, while Sam's music haunts me like a forgotten song. Grace's parents are well... you will see.
But no matter how many times i will read read it Maggie is the top of my romance novels. XD
