Feature & Follow #37

THE FUTURE & FOLLOW IS HOSTED BY TWO HOSTS, PARAJUNKEE OF PARAJUNKEE'S VIEW AND ALISON OF ALISON CAN READ. EACH HOST WILL HAVE THEIR OWN FEATURE BLOG AND THIS WAY IT’LL ALLOW US TO SHOW OFF MORE NEW BLOGS.

HOW DOES THE #FF WORK?

The goal is to increase blog followers, make friends and have something to post.
If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followersYou create your own post using the post prompt. You leave your link and thumbnail in the linky list that links back to your post prompt. Once you have your post up and linked, visit other posts and tell them hi. The point is to FOLLOW them not just comment. If you see a post that just hit it to the moon, or just want to show appreciation to a fellow blogger friend, like their name on the linky list to show some appreciation. The person with the most likes gets chosen as the next Feature (you can be chosen every 90 days unless we are in need of features) It is required that if you participate that you have to follow the FEATURE. It is a big no-no to participate and ignore the feature. They are the special snowflake in this little blizzard. As a participant it is up to your discretion on how you want people to follow. Please post RSS, GFC etc if you have a follow of choice.

Specific RULES
Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.

Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.

If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followedFollow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”

THE POST PROMPT:

What blurbs do you feel are wrong or misleading?

MY ANSWER:

I don't have anything in mind. But blurbs which tend to almost spoil everything are not my favorites. Some good punch lines always help too in a good blurb.

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! As a part of Fikishun's celebration for the final week of 2016 here's my list of the Top Ten books I've read on 2016 in no particular order. The event is hosted by Rachel of Fiktshun Jaime of Two Chicks on Books,  Mindy of Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Bridget of Dark Faerie Tales

Today's feature is a list of the best boyfriends I've read in my 2016 pile. That was the hardest one since I had to brainstorm everything and everyone I've read about, trying not to include releases from 2015. So in no particular order, here you go!

10: Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas! Best surprise ever! I will never get over you my adorable Illyrian Lord!

                                                              (Art belongs to Taratjah)

9: Nicholas Carter from Passenger by Alexandra Bracken! This young man with a tortured past and bravery! One of the best I've seen in Young Adult!

                                                                (Art belongs to Meabhd)

8: Forsyth from the Accidental Turn series by J. M. Frey! Technically he is not a "boyfriend" but he desrves a spot here because he has mad hacking skills and he is a sweet guy. A keeper, ladies, a keeper!

(The guy to the right. Art belongs to Kelley)

7: Aaron from More Happy than Not by Adam Silvera! This book destroyed me and made Mr. Silvera an auto-buy author for me. He is funny, shy and sweet despite having horrible friends and many, many more secrets to reveal. Really recommended this book!

6: Brock from Fire in You by J. Lynn (Jennifer Armentrout). Not much to say. Sexy ex-boxer with a heart of marshmallows! And this pretty cover! *swoons*

5: Ben West from The only Thing Worse than me is You by Lily Anderson. For a nerd/geek like me, this was one of the funniest contemporaries I've read!

4: Nik from GEMINA by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. With wit and some kick ass moves, this mafia boy in space will never let you get bored!

3: Maggiano from Midnight Star by Marie Lu! Such an amazing character who despite everything he still tries to find the almost-happy side.

2: The group from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I don't care who or if you want them fro boyfriend or girlfriend. They are all amazing!

1: Fred the vampire accountant from Fred the Vampire Accountant series by Drew Hayes. He may seem pretty simple but this guy is sharp, funny and despite always having issues with himself he manages to save the day!

                                                                           Griffin

Darrow and Sevro. Both are great, especially if you can see beyond Sevro's rough exterior.

                                                                   The Raven Boys.
