"The beautiful and the Cursed" Good Reads review

The Beautiful and the Cursed (The Dispossessed, #1)The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So I got to see the book appearing many times before me yet, i didn't want to read it.
How wrong i was! After a search about gargoyles, I found out many things that for a reason consist the main core of goth and historical genre.

"The beautiful and the Lost", written on third POV, speaks of Ingrid, Gabby, her sister and their trip to Paris where their mother will set a gallery. A boy named Luc, a series of murders and a group of not so normal people will thrust the girls into a world of Demons...and Angels.

I liked the desrciptions and the struggle between the heroes, yet i didn't want the story to progress on a love triangle. I hope that will not happen on the second book.

Totally recommended ----------> 5 of 5 stars

"Naturaly born Angel" Good Reads review

Natural Born Angel (Immortal City, #2)Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A terrible, heart breaking ending on the second book of the series! Maddy tries to live as an Angel, Jackson has to deal with the loss of his wings while new shadows threat to destroy Angel City...and humanity. Scott Speer knows how to keep you up with the story as also to cut in the bost important moments.
Yet, I was a little dissapointed with the triangle, even if for a reason it was justified and well explained.

"Phoenix" Good Reads review

Phoenix (Black City, #2)Phoenix by Elizabeth Richards
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

While Ash and Natalie try to stop Rose's plot of destroying the Darklings, a secret and a new ally(?) appear on the seconf book of the series! Whule i liked the 2nd POV between the main characters, i got a little disappointed. While there was such intense emotion, it wasn't described well; it felt almost...flat.

But that doesn't drop my stars! :) I can't wait for the third and last book of the series and i hope Natalie escapes her fate.

"Sentinel" Good Reads review

Sentinel (Covenant, #5)Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 of 5 stars

Absolutely the best ending for these series!!! To be honest, i feared that Jennifer would make it heartbreaking. She really did it. So i laughed and cried. Again i laughed, cried and at the ending I made a happy dance.

So don't hesitate to read "Sentinel" the series end damn fine and you will understand the road that will open for the next series of Armentrout's concerning Seth.

Happy reading!

"Gravity" Good Reads review

Gravity (The Taking, #1)Gravity by Melissa West
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A quick paced with action filled story, where aliens and humans collide. It is well hinted how easily we can destroy our planet whithout caring about the concequences as also the people who live in it.
I liked the romance between the main characters even more the relevations.

Even more interesting is the fact that Ancients come out of tress and that their world, despite their problems is more colorful than the human one.

"Gravity" holds all the elements for a sci-fi adventure combined with the need to think about ourselves and the planet we reside on. :)

"Pushing the Limits" Good Reads review

Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1)Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Emotional, with learnings about the society and the struggle on both teens until they find their place in the world, "Pushing the Limits" speaks of the relationship Echo and Noah develop from dual POV, as also their thoughts and feeling for each other.

I liked the plot, the setting and the way things worked out between the two. :)

Apollyon (Covenant, #4)Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can i say? Even from the first pages you get so focused into the story, you forget your surroundings!
So, Alex is connected with Seth, Aiden tries to save her mind and soul while the world is ending with '2012' style! Do you want more?

Gods get involved and the book's ending is tear breaking and makes you wish to have the next on hand! :)

"Immortal City" Good Reads review

Immortal City (Immortal City, #1)Immortal City by Scott Speer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I've been reading many bad reviews concerning Immortal City since the day i stumbled upon this book. Curious i found an ebook of it. Although i admit that the plot moved fast and the characters seemed not very developed i have a MAJOR pros for you:

ANGELS, LA, RED CARPET! -------> The idea of combining riches and wings is a first and the author made a great work expressing the emotions of the protagonists!!! Even the premonitons of Maddy kept me hooked on the story as also Jacks's wings!

A good, fat 5 of 5 stars from me! Of to the second book!

Most romantic contemporary story! With a forbidden relationship, characters with secrets and inner struggles, Leah Raeder creates two strong and maybe even in real life characters with love for each other as also hate for the society around them.

"Easy" and "Four Seconds to lose" Good Reads ebook reviews

Easy (Contours of the Heart, #1)Easy by Tammara Webber
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

From the good romances with the typical yet well given relationship between a teacher and a uni student. There wee good scenes, well paced plot and a good opportunity for all women and girls out there to see what silence can do and how the brave ones can protect themselves.
