I received an e-ARC from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
This was a very, VERY anticipated sequel! Ian's and Verita's story had its clutches on me ever since the first book! I loved them as a couple and the story was captivating from the first page!
In this sequel, Ian and Veritas must stop a power-hungry demon, fight countless enemies and discover more secrets. We are taken on a road trip through the planet from Egypt and Greece to Japan and the US. The action was mind-blowing not to mention the romance!
You have to love a character who gets the heroine and is not fearful of her powers. And Ian has a way to get under your skin and make you either laugh with him or kick him. I loved Veritas in this book too. She had a lot of emotional growth to do as she discovered more of her past and I enjoyed her trying to solve all the mysteries.
The ending was a CLIFFHANGER! Holly wow I never expected the PLOT TWIST which will surely make for a spectacular third book!
